Prioritizing Our Residents’ Health.

Our leading-edge infection prevention and control program is under the supervision of Rohit Bhalla, D.O., current chief of Infectious Diseases at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center and board member of ID Care, New Jersey’s largest network of board-certified infectious disease physicians. In collaboration with our clinical team, Dr. Bhalla and the ID Care team provide leadership, surveillance, and antibiotic stewardship. Our goals are to minimize the risk of infection in residents; reduce the risk of transmission of infectious agents among and between residents and healthcare workers; and reduce risks of infections developing in residents related to the use of equipment and procedures used in care.
